This is a tremendous vintage Zuni silver concho belt having a remarkable inlaid buckle. This piece is extremely rare and highly collectible as it is the finest Zuni concho belts we have collected all year. This belt was handmade by the extremely famous artist, Joe Zuni. Check out the size of that buckle as it measures around 3-7/8" X 3" and includes a phenomenal inlaid rahm head that consists of turquoise, mother of pearl and yellow shell. The gigantic 7 silver conchos each measure around 3-1/2" X 3" and consist of old natural patina. Situated on the conchos are amazing sun stampings, plant works, repoussed shells and channel patterns. Joes pieces are incredibly rare and highly collectible. Signed by Zuni artist, Joe Zunie. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 29-1/2" and 35-1/2". Sturdy 680 grams.
