This is a tremendous vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver pill box necklace. This museum quality very important piece was handmade by the famous artist Ben Begaye. The necklace contains a huge hand wrought solid sterling silver box/ pendant. The pendant has three pieces on the bottom that allow it to be detatch and sat up is desired. The entire necklace is made of incredibly heavy solid sterling silver. The silver link chain is even a marvelous thick silver with a traditional silver clasp. Located on the box is a phenomenal deep blue turquoise stone with surrounding impeccable hand repoussed shells and beautiful silver works. The box measures around 2-3/4" X 1" X 1-5/8".
