Huge Fabulous Advanced Inlay Work Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Necklace

This is an impressive vintage Santo Domingo silver necklace. The artist has used stones including turquoise, jet, mother of pearl and shell to create this most dynamic necklace. The center is eight graduated sizes of similar pendants strung side by side to create the look of the tail of a gorgeous feather. Three strands of jet discs emerge from both sides to meet the 3" x 1-1/8" trapezoid shaped station of similar color patterns of the stones - and from there the necklace goes to two strands of the graduated discs, silver cones and 1/4" silver beads and the silver hook. The largest center pendant pieces measure about 4" x 1/2". Wow! Sterling silver. Cir. 1990's+. Santo Domingo artist R. Crispin. The length of the necklace measures around 30". Sturdy 152 grams.
