Historical Vintage Michael Kabotie Native American Hopi Sterling Silver Earrings

This is a museum quality vintage Hopi all silver overlay earrings handmade by one of the most famous Hopi artists in history, Michael Kabotie. His pieces are extremely collectible, in fact his pieces are harder to find than the great artist Charles Laloma. They are not as readily available. He was of the Snow Clan and began working in the 60's. His work is featured in almost all of the Hopi books and just one of the best artists, we highly recommend his pieces to collectors. If you run across one of these pieces it may be awhile before you run across another. We required a collection of three pieces, which may be sold by the time you see this. The unique overlay patterns on each earring are just incredible and unique. The detailing is spectacular along with the chisel works. Each earring measures around 1-5/8" X 5/8" including the bead at the top. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Hopi artist, Michael Kabotie . Cir. 1970's+. The earrings weigh around 11 grams.
