Heavy Important Vintage Native American Navajo Ben Begaye Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a remarkable Navajo all silver necklace handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye. Ben is known for his incredible silver workmanship detailing. This necklace contains a mind blowing very detailed large thick silver heart pendant that measures around 2-7/8" X 1-3/4" including the bail. The detailing on the pendant consist of shells, raindrops, swirling stems, triangular patterns, and a large tiered silver flower. I love how the back of the pendant consists of multiple stampings that include dotted works, plant patterns, wave works and star patterns. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+.
