Heavy Don Dorthy Vintage Native American Navajo Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo turquoise and silver highly involved concho belt. This concho belt is absolutely amazing as so much more meets the eye. Each one of these 21 impeccable silver button conchos protrudes out which is absolutely phenomenal. Each concho measures around 1-1/2" in diameter and consists of beautiful sun stampings, dotted works and line segments. Even the links on the back of the conchos are sterling silver which is very rare and incredible. The conchos are completely hand tooled as well as the impressive 2-7/8" X 2-1/2" silver buckle. The buckle is absolutely remarkable as it includes more beautiful silver works that consists of teepees, dotted works and diamond patterns. Located in the center is a stunning Royston turquoise stone. This is just all around an incredible belt that is sturdy. The center stone measures around 3/4" x 5/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Don Dorthy. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 34-1/4" and 38-1/4". Sturdy 461 grams.
