Hand Carved Massive Old Eagle Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo large single stone silver bolo tie. This tremendous bolo contains a large rounded very chunky single turquoise stone that is a marvelous rich blue color. What is absolutely astonishing is the artist beautifully hand carved an eagle into the stone, such amazing workmanship. Bordering the very large and thick silver bolo is a wonderful silver rope. Resting at the bottom of the 48" black leather tie are incredible silver pins with accenting hogan silver beads and dangling repoussed shells with accenting snake eye shaped turquoise stones. The center stone measures around 3" x 3". Signed by Navajo artist, HS. Sterling silver. The bolo measures around 3" x 3". Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 137 grams.
