Hand Carved Chief Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Bracelet Cuff

This is a magnificent Navajo very large single stone Indian Chief head silver cuff bracelet. This phenomenal bracelet is very thick and wide consisting of a center intricately hand carved Number 8 turquoise stone that is carved into a marvelous Indian Chief head. The stone measures a whopping 1-7/8" X 1-1/2". Running down both ends of the impressive thick silver cuff are fascinating silver works that include thick stems, swirling stems, raindrops, and large detailed hand carved silver leaves. Bordering the edges of the cuff are outstanding wave patterns with accenting silver ropes. Check out the inside of the cuff as it consists of outstanding sun and cloud stampings from one end to the other. The workmanship on this bracelet is absolutely remarkable. The width of the bracelet measures around 2-1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, SR. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-3/4" with an additional 1-1/2" gap. Sturdy 145 grams.
