Gigantic Vintage Navajo 'Domed Jet' Native American Jewelry Silver Bracelet

We are proud to offer this remarkable vintage Zuni Native American jewelry silver bracelet. Resonating quite an impressive, expressive design, we have a dramatic huge oval black onyx stone vertically set in the center across nine horizontal silver rails. The stone is surrounded with silver rope and then has an incredible silver frame of beveled silver bars and graduated silver beads. Wider at the center of the cuff and then gently tapering to 1" at the terminals, the top and bottom rails are over 1/8" wide, while the others are narrow. Typically, the rails would merge together to a solid cuff - but what I really like about this bracelet is how each of those split rails are respected the entire way to the terminals - simply striking upon the wrist! The center stone measures around 1-1/8" x 1/2". The width of the bracelet measures around 2". Signed by Zuni Native American jewelry artist, R. Gasper. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1-1/4" gap. Sturdy 68 grams.
