This is a remarkable vintage Navajo large thick and sturdy silver buckle. This phenomenal buckle contains a large center chunky lapis stone. Surrounding the stone are impeccable silver works that include channel patterns and precise tight silver sun bursting patterns that broder the entire buckle. This buckle measures around 3" X 2-5/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-1/4" or less. The center stone measures around 1" x 3/4". Sterling silver. Signed by Navajo artist, Gibson Nez. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 101 grams.
