This is a breathtaking Southwestern all silver large and heavy silver bell that was hand carved into a phenomenal woman carrying her baby. This bell is absolutely marvelous as it is large measuring a whopping 3" X 1-7/8" and contains outstanding workmanship. The detailing on this bell is just astonishing as it includes hand carved flowers and butterflies at the bottom of the womans dress, a wrap so she can carry her baby along with her as she collects water for her family and a superior hand carved detailed silver sun hat. Her hand carved braided hair is just impeccable and so precise. I just love this bell so much as the detailing is incredible. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, MML. Cir. 1970's+.
