This is a fabulous vintage Navajo spiny oyster shell silver necklace set. This amazing necklace contains a large inlaid hand carved orange spiny oyster shell that is carved into a beautiful bear pattern. The large inlaid bear shell measures a whopping 1-7/8" X 1-1/2". The large silver pendant total measures around 2" X 1-7/8". I absolutely love this necklace. The necklace comes with a fascinating matching pair of large inlaid silver earrings that each consist of hand carved orange spiny oyster shells. Each of the earrings measure around 1-1/4" X 7/8". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 21-1/2". Sturdy 38 grams.
