Extremely Rare Gibson Nez Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo Gibson Nez turquoise and silver necklace. Gibson is one of the most famous artists of our time and is known for his superlative workmanship. This impeccable necklace consists of beautiful and superior graduating round silver beads with the largest measuring around 1/2" in diameter. Resting at the ends are phenomenal long fluted silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Situated at the clasp is a beautiful large hand cut Red Mountain turquoise stone that measures a whopping 1" X 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Gibson Nez . The length of the necklace measures around 20". Sturdy 94 grams.
