Extremely Important Vintage Native American Hopi Phillip Sekaquaptewa Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

This is a fascinating vintage Hopi silver bolo tie handmade by the very famous artist, Phillip Sekaquaptewa. Phillip is a multiple award winner and his workmanship contains many contemporary and traditional styles. This thick and large silver bolo contains a marvelous carved sun face. The intricacy of the carving is absolutely phenomenal and consists of deep carvings with accenting multiple chisel works. The thick and heavy silver bolo measures around 2-1/2" in diameter. Resting at the bottom of the incredible 44" thick black leather tie are superior long silver cones with accenting arrows. Signed by Hopi artist, Phillip Sekaquaptewa. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 77 grams.
