Born in 1940 in Winslow, Arizona, he was a self-taught silversmith and became one of the most recognized and celebrated Native American artists. He passed away on May 31, 2014. He's known for introducing new techniques and innovations in his jewelry designs. He often incorporated intricate overlay and stamp work, creating visually stunning pieces that showcased both traditional Navajo designs and his unique artistic vision. His work has had a lasting impact on Native American jewelry and art.
