Early Museum Quality Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise and silver leather concho belt. This remarkable belt includes a wonderful blue colored leather belt that contains braided patterns on the outer edges of the leather belt. Located on the belt are 10 fascinating handmade silver conchos with a large rectangular shaped buckle. Each of the conchos measure around 2-1/2" X 2-1/8" and the buckle measures around 3" X 2-1/4". Located in the center of each concho are large snake eye shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. The buckle consists of four outstanding turquoise stones. The silver works located throughout the conchos and buckle are just astonishing consisting of marvelous slanted zig zag patterns, sun stampings, dotted works, plant patterns and repoussed shells. Such amazing workmanship this belt contains. The belt can fit a waist size of about Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . This belt will fit a waist size between 29-1/4" and 34-1/2". Sturdy 369 grams.
