Early Authentic Vintage Native American Navajo Hand Tooled Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo very old silver concho belt having large oval and butterfly shaped silver conchos. I absolutely love the old natural patina on this entire belt. The belt consists of 9 total silver conchos with the larger conchos measuring around 3-3/4" X 3-1/4" and each of the butterfly shaped silver conchos measuring around 3" X 1-1/2". I love the silver works that are located throughout the conchos and consist of sun stampings, plant works, dotted works, and repoussed shells. The buckle on this belt is amazing and large and consists of more wonderful matching silver works. The buckle measures around 4" X 3". Located on the back of each of the oval shaped conchos are stunning leather backings, which is rare and unique to see. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . This belt will fit a waist size between 30-1/2" and 34-3/4". Sturdy 491 grams.
