Dazzling Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo large turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This fascinating necklace consists of beautiful hand cut large chunky Cerrillos turquoise stones, a total of 13 outstanding stones. The average stone measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Each stone is wonderfully placed in a stunning shadowbox setting with accenting silver shells and teardrop shaped patterns that graduate in size. The bottom phenomenal large silver naja pendant consists of three shanks with the center being a rope. Resting at the ends of the naja are amazing silver squashes. The naja pendant measures around 2-1/4" X 2-1/2". Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are impressive handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. I absolutely love the old natural patina on this necklace as well as the beautiful workmanship. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 185 grams.
