This is an exceptional vintage Navajo Native American Jewelry important silver squash blossom necklace. This piece is absolutely stunning as it contains an extremely rare collection of turquoise stones that you dont see on squash blossom necklaces. This piece contains 27 very rare Blue Thunder turquoise stones. The naja is gargantuan and measures a mind blowing 3-1/2" X 3-3/4". Located on the naja pendant are marvelous silver works that consist of raindrops, ropes, mountain patterns and sun patterns. Surrounding each stone on the squashes are more amazing silver works that match the beautiful naja. Resting throughout the necklace are phenomenal round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The largest stone on the necklace measures around 5/8" X 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo Native American Jewelry artist, V and N Edsitty .
