This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo silver buckle. Really appreciated in person, this 2-3/4" round domed buckle has an impressive four layers of 3-D dimension! At the very heart is a raised silver bead inside the puffed 8-petal floral. That center sets atop the scalloped inside round - with handstamped sunrises within each of the edges. And the outermost scalloped edging has a circle of additional handstamped sunrises also strung together. This fabulous convex surface buckle will fit belts 1-3/4" or less. Sterling silver, marked.
