This is a tremendous Navajo turquoise silver concho belt. This museum quality huge and heavy concho belt is one of the finest we have collected in a while. The belt consists of 10 fabulous thick and sturdy silver conchos including the marvelous matching silver buckle. Located in the center of each 2-1/2" X 2-3/4" is a stunning dome shaped green Royston turquoise stone that each measures around 3/4" X 1/2". The surrounding silver works on these conchos include geometric patterns, slanted segments and mountain patterns. Check out how the artist beautiful hand carved the geometric patterns out of the center of the conchos. Each of the conchos consist of a leather backing. Signed by Navajo artist, (Fish). Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 32-3/4" and 52-1/2". Sturdy 688 grams.
