This is a museum quality vintage Navajo inlaid silver and 14k gold bracelet. This bracelet is absolutely remarkable as it consists of beautiful inlaid purple shells along with a center unique shaped single turquoise stone. What is absolutely incredible are the accenting 14k gold sections that surrounding the stones. Running down both ends of the impressive thick cuff are extremely deep line segments. The workmanship on this bracelet is absolutely phenomenal. The center turquoise stone appears to be from the stunning Number 8 turquoise mine. The Number 8 Turquoise Mine is a famous turquoise mine located in the Lynn Mining District near Carlin, Nevada, United States. It is known for producing high-quality turquoise with a unique light blue to green color and a distinctive spiderweb matrix pattern. The mine is named after its claim number and has been a prolific source of turquoise since its discovery in the early 1900s. Number 8 Turquoise is highly valued by collectors and jewelry makers due to its attractive color and matrix pattern. The matrix, characterized by brown to golden brown spiderweb-like veins, adds to the stone's beauty and uniqueness. The turquoise from this mine is often cut and used in Native American jewelry, as well as in various other types of jewelry and art. The width of the bracelet measures around 1/2".
