This is a tremendous vintage Navajo huge hand carved horny toad silver bracelet that is very thick and heavy. This remarkable museum quality piece contains a large hand carved thick silver horny toad that measures a whopping 3-1/2" X 2-1/2". Horny toads are amazing as they are symbolic for the culture. They are sybolic for being the grandfathers who watch over the arrowheads on their land. What I really love about this bracelet are the three beautiful hand carved Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. The carvings on the toad are just impeccable and so precise. This bracelet contains a a superior thick and sturdy triple silver shank cuff that graduates in width towards the center. The stones measure around 1/4" x 1/4". The width of the bracelet measures around 3-1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Robbie May. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1-1/2" gap. Sturdy 168 grams.
