Ben Begaye Heavy Vintage Native American Navajo Onyx Sterling Silver Ring

This is an exceptional vintage Navajo large single stone silver ring. This ring was handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye. This wonderful ring contains a large oval shaped black onyx stone, such a beautiful stone. Surrounding the stones are fascinating silver works that consist of multiple shells and raindrops. Also accenting the side of the shanks are more amazing silver shells. This ring contains a remarkable sturdy triple silver shank. The back of the ring face consists of beautiful stamp works that include sun works and dotted patterns. The center stone measures around 2" x 5/8". The ring face measures around 2-1/2" x 1-1/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye . The ring size is around 9. Cir. 1970's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 38 grams.
