Beeny Boyd Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Slab Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise and silver concho belt. This remarkable museum quality belt contains 9 impressive rectangular shaped silver conchos including the matching silver buckle. Each concho and buckle measures around 2-1/8" X 1-5/8". I love how each stone located on each concho is either a different size or shape or both, the detailing is amazing and simplistic. Surrounding each of the beautiful turquoise stones are stunning silver ropes that are thick. The largest stone measures around 1-3/4" X 1-3/8" and is located on the buckle. I love how at two of the corners on each concho and buckle are two line segments that really accent the piece. Signed by Navajo artist, BB (possibly Benny Boyd). Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 30-3/4" and 35-1/2". Sturdy 316 grams.
