This is a tremendous vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry completely solid sterling silver pen holder. This piece is absolutely incredible and was handmade by master silversmith, Will Shaw. Located on the pen holder are amazing geometric silver works with surrounding sun bursting patterns. Check out the feet that Will put on the bottom. What makes this piece very unique is that it took 3rd place in the Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial which is very impressive as there are so many items that are entered into the ceremonial each year. The pen holder measures around 4-1/2" X 3-1/4" X 2-1/4". Sterling silver. Signed by Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry artist, Will Shaw. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 156 grams.
