Authentic Vintage Huge Native American Navajo Kirk Smith Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a breathtaking vintage Navajo museum quality silver concho belt. This is an extremely rare and highly collectible concho belt handmade by the famous artist, Kirk Smith. Kirk is one of the best artists in history. This piece is absolutely phenomenal. Located throughout the 11 large silver conchos and large silver buckle are remarkable silver works with accenting multiple colored stones and shells. The silver works include repoussed shells, diamond patterns, sun stampings and dotted works. The stones and shells consist of turquoise, lapis, malachite, onyx, spiny oyster, mother of pearl and coral. The large rounded conchos each measure around 3" X 2-7/8" and the amazing large silver buckle measures around 3-1/2" X 2-7/8". The largest stone measures around 5/8" x 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Kirk Smith . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 36" and 42". Sturdy 595 grams.
