Here we have an incredible Navajo silver bracelet having 5 Morenci turquoise stones with layers of handcarved silver leaves, silver stems, silver swirls and silver beads! This magnificent piece has silver rope and thick handcarved silver borders with silver handstampings on the terminal ends of the solid silver cuff! Absolutely Breathtaking Masterpiece!
The Morenci turquoise mine in Southeastern Arizona dates back to 1864.
Although no turquoise is actively being produced, small amounts still come to market from the stock that was previously mined, thus making Morenci turquoise very sought after by collectors in today's turquoise market!
The stones measure around 1/2" x 3/8". The width of the bracelet measures around 2". Signed by Navajo artist, H. Etcitty. Sterling silver. The inside end to end measures around 5-3/4" with an additional 1-3/4" gap. Sturdy 126 grams.
