Ark Yazzie Vintage Native American Navajo Green Turquoise Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a striking vintage Navajo turquoise and shell silver pendant necklace. This wonderful necklace contains a bottom large silver pendant that consists of a superior large orange spiny oyster shell. The shell measures around 1-1/2" X 3/4" and the large pendant measures around 2-3/4' X 1". The rest of the necklace is comprised of 3 amazing strands that include Royston turquoise, orange spiny oyster discs, lapis cylindar stones and Blue Gem turquoise stones. Resting throughout all of the stones and shells are fascinating hand cut round silver beads and hand cut brown shell heishi. The necklace consists of end sterling silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Ark Yazzie . The length of the necklace measures around 22". Sturdy 72 grams.
