This is an impressive vintage Navajo all silver animal fetish squash blossom style necklace. This remarkable necklace consists of 10 outstanding detailed hand carved silver squash pendants not including the bottom fox pendant that is the largest. The 10 intricately hand carved silver animals going up the necklace consist of rabits, beavers, skunks, badgers and squirrels. The design work of these hand carved silver animals is just astonishing. Situated throughout the majority of the necklare are outstanding handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The bottom silver fox measures around 2-3/8" X 1-3/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+ . Signed by Navajo artist, Ella Peter. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 114 grams.
