This is a museum quality vintage Navajo blue turquoise necklace. This piece contains 6 strands of remarkable blue turquoise stones that appear to be from the the old Sleeping Beauty and old Royston turquoise mines. Accenting the stones are a beautiful plethora of white shell heishi. Located on each end of the necklace are vibrant red beads. The neck piece is wonderfully hand braided. The average stone on this necklace measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 33". Sturdy 175 grams.
