A fascinating vintage Navajo Native American jewelry Native American jewelry silver buckle. This rectangular shaped convex surface buckle has two separate detailed inlay stations. The one oval one measures about 1" x 3/4" and is a stunning abstract ceremonial dancer done in inlay turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and jet. The other oblong station is done in geometric inlay shapes of lapis, turquoise, mother of pearl and coral. The two inlay stations are set among incredible embellishments of silver applique leaves, stems, berries and shells. These extensive embellishments set atop the buckle in a raised arch design, setting over 3/8" high in the center. The buckle has a double border of a raised silver bar and the hand stamped edging.
