699 Gram Horse Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt Old

This is a magnificent vintage Nvajo very large thick and sturdy turquoise and silver concho belt. This remarkable belt contains 11 outstanding very large and thick silver conchos that are rounded and butterfly shapes. Each rounded concho measures around 2-1/2" in diameter while each butterfly shaped concho measures around 2-1/2" X 2". Situated throughout each concho are wonderful silver stampings that include sun works, geometric patterns and a textured center background. Located in the center of each concho is a stunning detailed hand carved silver horse. Accenting the horse is a beautiful oval shaped turquoise stone that measures around 3/8" X 1/4". Located on the belt is a fabulous large oval shaped silver buckle that contains more outstanding matching silver works and turquoise stone. The total length of the belt measures around 56" long. Signed by Navajo artist, K. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 699 grams.
