542 Grams 1970's Vintage Native American Navajo Signed Sterling Silver Turquoise Concho Belt

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo very old turquoise and silver concho belt. This museum quality belt contains 15 outstanding handmade very large silver conchos that include butterfly and oval shaped conchos. The large oval shaped conchos each measure around 3" X 2-3/4" while each of the butterfly shaped conchos measure around 2-3/8" X 1-3/8". Located in the center of each concho is a wonderful chunky Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone that measures around 1/2" X 1/4". Surrounding each of the conchos are impeccable silver works that include sun stampings, dotted works, slanted line channel patterns and center repoussed shells. The amazing large rectangular shaped silver buckle measures a whopping 3-1/8" X 2-3/4". Located on the buckle are four more amazing Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones with impeccable silver works. Signed by Navajo artist, (bird). Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's. This belt will fit a waist size between 37" and 46-1/2". Sturdy 542 grams.
