417 Gram Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Green Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very large turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a mind blowing plethora of oval shaped Royston turquoise stones, a total of 23 beautiful stones. Surrounding each stone are thick silver ropes. The bottom thick and sturdy naja pendant measures around 3-1/2" X 2-3/4". Surrounding the naja pendant are wonderful silver works that consist of sun bursting patterns, channel works, carved out teepee patterns, and a thick silver rope. Resting throughout the majority of the necklace are very large impressive handmade silver hogan beads with a traditional silver clasp. The size and length of this squash blossom necklace is just so marvelous and impressive. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Handmade by Navajo artist, Chris Hale. The length of the necklace measures around 34". Sturdy 417 grams.
