This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo large disc shaped stone and shell necklace. This mind blowing necklace contains some of the largest graduating hand cut disc shaped stones and shells we have seen on a necklace. The largest disc shaped stone and shell measures a whopping 1-1/8" in diameter. Seperating the bottom portion of the stones and shells are marvelous hand cut jet heishi. The stones and shells on this beautiful necklace include jet, turquoise, spiny oyster and shite shells. Such incredible workmanship and detailing. Sterling silver. Handmade by Santo Domingo artist, Esquipula Calabaza. The length of the necklace measures around 19". Sturdy 222 grams.
