183 Grams Native American Navajo Turtle Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo large turtle silver pendant turquoise necklace. This fascinating necklace contains a bottom very large handmade silver turtle pendant that measures a whopping 4-14" X 3-3/4" including that gigantic silver bail. Located on the turtle pendant is a large chunky Royston turquoise stone that measures a fascinating 2" X 1-3/4". Surrounding the pendant are incredible silver stamp works. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are two strands of remarkable disc shaped turquoise stones with 12 accenting silver double beaded squashes. Resting at the ends of the necklace are silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Tawney Willie. The length of the necklace measures around 28-1/2". Sturdy 183 grams.
