This is a tremendous Navajo inlaid American flag silver squash blossom necklace. This impeccable necklace was handmade by the famous artist, Cal Desson. Cal is one of the best Navajo inlayers in history. This remarkable necklace consists of 8 amazing inlaid American flag squashes. What makes these squashes so unique are the striking shooting stars that come of the ends of each squash, absolutely breathtaking. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a large dome shaped inlaid American flag pendant that measures around 2-3/4" X 1-1/4" including the large bail. The inlay on this necklace and earring set consists of lapis, coral, and white shells. Resting throughout the entire necklace are amazing round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. This necklace comes with a stunning matching pair of American flag inlaid silver earrings that each measure around 3/4" X 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+.
