Important Vintage Native American Zuni Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a museum quality vintage Zuni inlaid waterbird silver squash blossom necklace. This mind blowing necklace contains 14 phenomenal hand inlaid silver waterbirds, 12 being made into beautiful inlaid squash blossoms that each measure around 1-7/8" X 3/4". The inlay on this necklace includes Sleeping Beauty turquoise, yellow shell, coral, brown shell, onyx and mother of pearl. Located on the bottom inlaid waterbird silver naja pendant are two waterbirds and feather patterns. The naja pendant measures a whopping 3" X 2-3/4". Accenting the inlaid stones and shells are wonderful silver works that consist of ropes and raindrops. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are beautiful old natural patina round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Vera Luna. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 121 grams.
