This is a marvelous vintage Navajo mother of pearl shell silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality outstanding piece contains 17 beautiful dome shaped mother of pearl shells that each measure around 3/4" X 1/2". Surrounding each of the shells are remarkable silver works that consist of ropes, teepee patterns and large silver raindrops. What makes this squash blossom unique is the large double shank silver naja pendant that measures around 3" X 3-1/2". Resting throughout the entire necklace are amazing round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 170 grams.
