This is a magnificent vintage Zuni inlaid silver owl necklace being one of the finest owl squash blossom necklaces we have ever collected. What we really love about this piece is that remarkable large inlaid naja pendant that consists of a large inlaid silver owl. The necklace consists of 6 remarkable inlaid silver squashes with four being inlaid owls. The inlay on this necklace consists of turquoise, mother of pearl, opal, coral and onyx. The large naja pendant measures a mind blowing 3-1/2" X 2-1/2". Resting throguhout the entire necklace are amazing round silver beads with accenting end silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+ . Signed by Zuni artist, L. Saldo . The length of the necklace measures around 30". Sturdy 117 grams.
