366 Gram Gasp! Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is an impressive vintage Navajo turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This necklace is very large and long and consists of 25 large chunky Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. Each stone measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Surrounding the stones are thick silver ropes. The entire very thick triple silver shank naja pendant measures a whopping 4-1/2" X 2-3/4". The center shank on the naja is a rope. Situated around the naja pendant are marvelous channel works, wave works and sun stampings. Resting throughout the necklace are phenomenal large hogan shaped silver beads with an end traditional silver clasp. The squash blossom necklace 16 silver squashes with each squash consisting of more hogan silver beads, sun stampings and diamond works. This necklace is absolutely remarkable and so beautiful. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Christopher Hale. The length of the necklace measures around 34". Sturdy 366 grams.
