One Of The Most Detailed Ever All Silver Sterling Vintage Native American Navajo Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very large silver scenery concho belt. This remarkable belt contains 9 outstanding hand carved rounded rectangular shaped silver conchos along with a matching silver buckle. What I absolutely love about this belt is that every single concho and the buckle consists of a complete different carving design, just impeccable. The designs include Navajo sceneries that consist of baskets, monuments, corn field, hogan in a night setting, hogan with a Native man in a day setting, a Native woman overlooking the hogan, Native woman cooking outside, Native man sitting beneath a tree overlooking the desert scenery, Native man walking out from his teepee, a weaving rug next to the hogan, and the Native couple enjoying their hogan sitting next to a fire. The detailing is absolutely astonishing and so fascinating. Bordering each of the large and thick 3-1/8" X 2-1/4" silver conchos and buckle are incredible silver sun stampings. I cannot get over the superior workmanship this concho belt contains. Signed by Navajo artist, EB. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 36" and 44".
