This is a superlative vintage Zuni inlaid silver Necklace and earring set handmade by the famous artist, Eldred Martinez. Edlred is known for her impeccable hand carved stone workmanship. The detailing of her hand carved stones and shells on her pieces is just magnificent and so precise. This necklace contains inlaid corals, yellow shells, Sleeping Beauty turquoise, mother of pearl and onyx. Surrounding the inlay workmanship are wonderful flattened silver shells. This incredible necklace comes with a stunning matching pair of inlaid earrings. Each earring measures around 2-1/2" X 1". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Zuni artist, Eld Martinez. The length of the necklace measures around 27". Sturdy 83 grams.
