This is a tremendous Santo Domingo inlaid necklace being one of the best and largest inlaid Santo Domingo necklaces we have collected in a long time. This necklace is absolutely amazing as it is two sided. Both sides consist of remarkable inlay that consists of spiny oyster, turquoise, mother of pearl and jet. Located throughout the inlay pieces are three wonderful strands of graduating white shell heishi. Cir. 1970's+. Santo Domingo artist, Crespin family . The length of the necklace measures around 36". Sturdy 365 grams.
