This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo inlaid large pendant necklace. This phenomenal mind blowing necklace is one of the finest Santo Domingo necklaces we have collected this entire year. This piece is just INSANE! Check out that very large inlaid double sided bird pendant. The inlay contains Blue Diamond turquoise, spiny oyster, onyx, denim lapis, purple shell, and even silver rope swirling patterns. The pendant measures a mind blowing 6-1/2" X 4" including the large and thick inlaid bail. This necklace contains five beautiful strands of onyx, turquoise, spiny oyster and purple shells. Resting at the ends are silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. This is the largest pendant we have EVER seen on a Santo Domingo necklace. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Handmade by Santo Domingo artist, Ella Mae Garcia . The length of the necklace measures around 34-1/2". Sturdy 200 grams.
