Native American Museum Vintage Zuni Turquoise Sterling Silver Owl Squash Blsosom Necklace Old

This is a magnificent vintage Zuni inlaid owl silver squash blossom necklace. This opulent necklace contains 12 inlaid silver owls. This piece is incredibly unique and what I really love about this piece is that the owls are huge, measuring around 1-1/2" X 7/8". The inlay on this necklace includes mother of pearl, coral, brown shell and turquoise. Sometimes these pieces the owls will be smaller but with this necklace they are huge which is incredibly rare. Situated throughou the necklace are amazing round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. The large inlaid silver pendant measures around 2-1/2" X 1-3/4". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+ . Navajo artist Thelma and Blake Labonski . The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 149 grams.
