Important Darryl Becenti (d.) Sterling Silver Hand Tooled Jet Necklace Native American Navajo

This is an exquisite vintage Navajo silver necklace handmade by one of the best silverwork artists of our time, Darryl Becenti. Darryl recently passed away unfortunately. This very amazing necklace contains an intricate design. The necklace contains three remarkable strands that consist of round silver beads, hogan shaped silver beads and amazing black onyx stones. Resting at the ends are superior large drum silver beads that contain beautiful diamond stampings with line segments. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a large silver pendant that consists of a fat teardrop shaped onyx stone that measures around 1-1/4" X 1". Situated around the stone are marvelous silver ropes, channel patterns, sun works and repoussed shells. Check out that very detailed thick silver bail. The entire pendant including the bail measures around 2-1/2" X 1-1/2". What I also love about this necklace is that the length can be adjustable measuring from 24" to 27". Sterling silver, marked.
