Early Museum Vintage Native American Navajo Royston Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is an astonishing vintage Navajo turquoise and silver concho belt. This remarkable hand tooled concho belt consists of 12 fascinating large butterfly shaped and round shaped conchos. Located in the center of each concho are wonderful round green turquoise stones that appear to be from the Royston turquoise mine. The phenomenal silver works that are situated on each concho are amazing including reppoussed shells, slanted line segments, and sun patterns. The larger conchos each measure around 3" X 2-1/2". Located on the marvelous 3-1/2" X 3" silver buckle are four more impeccable Royston turquoise stones. The old natural patina on this belt is absolutely amazing. The largest stone measures around 1/2" x 3/8". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . This belt will fit a waist size between 37-3/4" and 40". Sturdy 416 grams.
