This is a remarkable vintage Santo Domingo three strand necklace. This amazing necklace contains three wonderful strands that rest within one another. Located on each strand is a marvelous plethora of hand carved mother of pearl bird fetishes. Accenting the mother of pearl shells are amazing silver beads. The majority of this necklace consists of fascinating hand cut brown shell heishi with end round silver beads and torpedo shaped silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 35 grams.
